I grew up watching my brother watch sports. My brother always loved sports, and when he got older, he took his passion for sports to a new level by consulting about the odds and selling picks in Vegas. When he signed on to have his own show on Sirius XM, I helped him market the show by tweeting about the odds.
In my private life, I'm an elementary school teacher. I have both undergraduate and graduate degrees in criminal justice but am more proud of my role as a mother. I don't know a whole lot about politics and have likely voted for the wrong people for the right reasons. I strive to embrace imperfection and look to learn more about becoming better when I mess up.
So I guess what I'm saying is I'm imperfect. As is any strategy is making predictions. Nobody has a guaranteed way of picking winners. That being said, I proudly bet like a girl.
Betting like a girl doesn't mean that I choose based on my favorite color, nor my favorite number. Only sometimes, that works; betting like a girl is more about doing your homework, using your brain, and knowing that you can't expect always to win. Betting like a girl means you pay attention, do your homework, and in the end, trust your gut.
